On February 7, 2026, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two individuals in connection with a burglary at a storage unit near 1st St. and Ammon Rd. The victims reported the theft of various items, including a vehicle, furniture, and personal belongings.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies and the victims reviewed security footage from nearby businesses. This led to identifying suspects and a pickup truck believed to have been used in transporting the stolen property.
Deputies traced the suspect vehicle’s registration to a residence on W. 19th St. in Idaho Falls. At this location, they found the pickup with some stolen property still inside. During their investigation, Frank Ruben Addleman, age 55, drove by in another vehicle accompanied by Kelly Lynn Dean, age 45. Deputies stopped them as Addleman was parking and attempting to leave on foot.
Both Addleman and Dean were wearing clothes matching those seen in security video from earlier that day. A search of their vehicle revealed just over two grams of methamphetamine in the center console. Dean was also found with over two grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
“Both Addleman and Dean admitted to being involved in the theft of property in question and took Deputies to a separate storage unit where the stolen vehicle in question was taken,” stated officials from the Sheriff’s Office. “Mr. Addleman admitted to having knowledge of the Methamphetamine in his vehicle but denied it belonged to him or Ms. Dean.”
Recovered property was returned to its owners as deputies continue their investigation into the case.
Addleman and Dean were booked into Bonneville County Jail on charges of burglary and criminal conspiracy. Additional charges for Addleman include felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia; Dean faces misdemeanor charges for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
