Fort Hall ranked 185th in state for resident earnings in 2017

Fort Hall ranked 185th among cities in Idaho by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of Fort Hall residents was an inflation-adjusted $17,951 per year. Fort Hall had 1,061 households in 2017, with a population of 3,589.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Hidden Springs. Hidden Springs's median income was $65,161 per year after adjusting for inflation – $47,210 more than Fort Hall. It had 852 households in 2017 and a population of 2,515.

Rexburg had the lowest annual resident income among cities in Idaho, with a median income of only $9,772 per year. That was $8,179 less than the median income in Fort Hall at the time. Rexburg had 7,942 households in 2017 and a population of 27,369.
