Today, Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson issued a statement in response to President Trump's 2025 joint address to Congress.
Simpson expressed his support for the president's leadership, stating, "The American Dream is being restored under President Trump's leadership." He praised the president's efforts during his first month back in office, highlighting actions such as ending the border crisis and promoting American energy. Simpson remarked that America is "once again respected on the world stage" due to these initiatives.
After listening to the address, Simpson conveyed optimism about Trump's "America First vision" for the next four years. He believes that Americans have many reasons to celebrate having Trump back in the White House.
"My Republican colleagues and I will keep working with President Trump to execute American-first policies," he said. Simpson emphasized their commitment to reversing what they view as damage from the previous administration and restoring common sense in order to maintain the American Dream.
