We have been approached by several businesses, religious groups and individuals asking about training and options when it comes to active shooter events. The Sheriff's Office will be hosting two presentations of C.R.A.S.E. (Civilian Response To Active Shooter Events) by ALLERT Instructor Sergeant Gary Yancey. These are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. Sgt. Yancey will give a presentation then it will be opened up for questions and answers. The dates and time are: Snake River High School Auditorium March 10th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Shelley High School March 18th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
