4.2% of Bonneville County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Bonneville County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 2,394 people out of the 121,771 living in Bonneville County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Bonneville County has increased compared to the 3.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Bonneville County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 55,197 people who had a job during that time, 180 were employed in the Armed Forces and 55,017 belonged to the civilian labor force.
