Crapo announces new staff appointments for Senate Finance Committee

Washington, D.C.--Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) today announced the following staff updates:

Andrew Dell’Orto has been appointed as Policy Advisor. Dell’Orto joins the Committee from Blackstone, where he worked in government relations conducting due diligence and policy analysis on global and domestic political and regulatory issues. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Georgetown University.

Phoebe Keller has been named Communications Advisor. Keller comes to the Committee media team from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where she served as Managing Director of Media Relations. At AEI, she promoted research across various issue areas including foreign policy, defense, and tax and economic issues. Prior to AEI, she was a press intern at the Supreme Court of the United States and managing editor of her college newspaper, the Cornell Daily Sun. She earned her B.A. from Cornell University, double-majoring in Government and History.

Amy Nabozny joins as Health Policy Advisor. Nabozny previously worked for Ranking Member Bill Cassidy (R-Louisiana) on public health care issues at the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP). She also served as a Legislative Assistant and Legislative Correspondent for Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), focusing on health care issues. Nabozny earned her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, double-majoring in Government and History.

Eric Oman returns to the Committee as Senior Tax Policy Advisor after his tenure at the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee. Oman is a veteran of the Senate Finance Committee under Ranking Member Crapo, Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), and Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah). He also advised Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) on tax and budget policy. Oman has held positions at a Fortune 500 high-tech company and a Big 4 accounting firm, focusing on legislative, regulatory, and administrative developments on federal, international, and state tax provisions. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
