Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson has announced the winners of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge for Idaho’s Second Congressional District. The winners are Kade Poulson and Hazel Rivadeneira, two eighth graders from Burley Junior High School. They were recognized for their creation, "Undertale Remake Boss Battle."
“I am thrilled to congratulate Kade Poulson and Hazel Rivadeneira as the 2024 Congressional App Challenge Winners,” said Rep. Simpson. “Every year, students throughout Idaho’s Second District showcase their tech skills by participating in the Congressional App Challenge. Congratulations to all the participants for their dedication to innovation. I am proud to represent such creative students.”
The competition is organized by Members of Congress and invites middle and high school students to develop their own software applications. It provides an opportunity for young individuals across the nation to demonstrate creativity and innovation.
