Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson has signed a letter urging President Trump to reinstate and expand pro-life policies at the beginning of his new administration. This initiative is part of a bicameral effort led by U.S. Representatives Chris Smith (R-NJ) and Robert Aderholt (R-AL), along with U.S. Senators Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) and James Lankford (R-OK). The letter has garnered support from 36 Senators and 108 Representatives.
"Defending the right to life has been one of my top priorities since coming to Congress," stated Rep. Simpson. "My pro-life colleagues and I are deeply grateful for the Trump administration’s unwavering commitment to life, and we stand ready to support their efforts to restore life-affirming policies and secure meaningful victories for pregnant women, mothers, and their children—born and unborn."
