Crapo meets with Trump's IRS commissioner nominee Billy Long

U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo issued a statement following his meeting with Billy Long, the nominee for IRS Commissioner put forward by President Trump. The meeting took place as part of the process to consider Long's nomination.

Crapo expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to discuss Long's plans for enhancing taxpayer services and improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the IRS. He noted Long's background as a former Congressman and small business owner, highlighting that these experiences would be beneficial in his potential new role.
