U.S. Senators Mike Crapo and Mark R. Warner, who lead the Senate Community Development Finance Caucus, have expressed their continued support for the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund. The CDFI Fund was established three decades ago to enhance access to capital in underserved urban and rural areas through a public-private partnership.

The senators highlighted the growth of the CDFI sector since its inception in 1994. It now includes over 1,400 institutions across all states and territories, leveraging at least $8 from private investment for every $1 of public funding.

"As co-chairs of the Community Development Finance Caucus, a group which has grown to 28 members, 14 Democrats and 14 Republicans, we are proud to reaffirm our bipartisan commitment to support the CDFI Fund’s mission," they stated.
