Senator Crapo offers condolences on passing of former President Jimmy Carter

U.S. Senator Mike Crapo from Idaho expressed his condolences following the death of former President Jimmy Carter on December 29, 2024. In a statement, Crapo highlighted Carter's life dedicated to public service and his influential leadership both during and after his presidency.

Crapo remarked, "President Jimmy Carter lived a life of public service that demonstrated an unquestionable dedication and love of his country. He was an influential leader both inside the Oval Office and out." He also noted Carter's contributions through his service in the U.S. Navy and philanthropic efforts within various communities.

The senator extended his sympathies to the Carter family, saying, "I join with Idahoans in sending my condolences to the entire Carter family, and am certain Jimmy and Rosalynn are rejoicing together in their reunion."
