Crapo names Republican staff for Senate Finance Committee's 119th Congress

U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) has revealed the Republican staff members for the 119th Congress. The team will support the Committee's work in developing policies aimed at economic growth, healthcare access, and expanding markets for American businesses.

“These experienced, dedicated individuals will be essential in developing a strong policy agenda that strengthens our economy, expands access to affordable, high-quality health care and unlocks global markets for American businesses,” said Crapo. “I am grateful for their service and look forward to working with them as the Committee carries out a robust policy agenda in the 119th Congress.”

The Economics team includes Becky Cole as Chief Economist, John Kashuba as Counsel, and Lara Rosner as Social Security Policy Advisor. Their responsibilities encompass issues like debt limit management, unemployment insurance, and oversight of the U.S. Department of the Treasury and Social Security Administration.

The Tax team is led by Courtney Connell as Chief Tax Counsel with support from Jamie Cummins, Michael Gould, Randy Herndon, Kate Lindsey, Clancy Lyles, Eric Oman, Don Snyder, and James Williams. This group focuses on domestic and international tax policy along with pension systems and retirement tax matters.

Health Care advisors include Gable Brady as Senior Health Policy Advisor along with Erin Dempsey, Kellie McConnell, Amy Nabozny, Charlotte Rock, and Conor Sheehey. They oversee health programs under the Social Security Act including Medicare and Medicaid.

For Trade matters, Molly Newell serves as International Trade Counsel alongside John O’Hara and Mayur Patel. Their focus includes customs regulations and trade agreements.

Nominations are managed by Andrew Dell’Orto as Policy Advisor. Communications duties fall to Amanda Critchfield as Communications Director with Eric Fejer serving as Deputy Press Secretary.

Gregg Richard remains the Republican Staff Director for the Committee.
