U.S. Senator Mike Crapo from Idaho expressed his views following the Senate's approval of the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Resolution. The resolution was passed with a narrow margin of 52-48 votes.

Senator Crapo stated, "The Senate’s passage of our FY 2025 Budget Resolution takes the first step in fulfilling Republicans’ November mandate from the American people to protect our borders, restore our national security and unleash our domestic energy potential, without increasing the debt or deficit." He further emphasized that this advancement is "a long-overdue step toward getting our fiscal house in order."

The resolution reflects priorities such as border protection, national security restoration, and enhancement of domestic energy capabilities while aiming to avoid an increase in national debt or deficit.
