U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Continuing Resolution (CR) aimed at extending government funding through December 20, 2024.

“This CR is yet another failure to follow our annual budget and appropriations process. The Senate Appropriations Committee has already advanced all 12 individual appropriations bills and there is no reason the Senate should not have taken these up for a vote before now. We have to stop with the bandaids on our growing fiscal crisis,” stated Crapo.

Crapo's remarks highlight ongoing frustrations within Congress regarding delays in passing comprehensive budget measures.
