U.S. Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho expressed his opposition to the Continuing Resolution (CR) aimed at extending government funding until March 14, 2025. After voting against the measure, Crapo issued a statement highlighting his concerns about the implications of the resolution.

"This CR is yet another bandaid on our nation’s growing fiscal crisis," said Crapo. He criticized the resolution as a temporary fix that bypasses the standard budgetary procedures. "This stopgap solution fails to follow our annual budget and appropriations process, usurping the vested oversight and authority of Congress."

Crapo's remarks reflect ongoing debates in Congress regarding fiscal responsibility and the legislative process for approving government funding.
